SUSTAINABILITY LABELING OF OUR WORKWEAR

At Blåkläder, we’re proud that a large selection of our workwear now carries the internationally recognized sustainability label, OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN. Soon, we expect half of our range to achieve the same validation, confirming our commitment to climate responsibility, fair working conditions, and safe material choices. Our long-term goal is for all our products to meet these high standards.

“Made in Green is one of the most comprehensive and credible certifications for sustainable clothing, making it easier for buyers to make informed choices.”

SAFE FOR YOU AND THE ENVIRONMENT

To receive the Made in Green label, a product must meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning it has been tested and is free from harmful substances. You can trust that the product is safe for both you and the environment, thanks to careful analyses covering every component of the garment.

TRANSPARENCY AND TRACEABILITY

A fundamental principle of Made in Green is transparency. The entire production process is traceable, with each step visible on the production map. You can easily track your product and all its components by entering the product ID at oeko-tex.com.

“Having our own production offers unique advantages in terms of control over social sustainability for our employees and the opportunity to use low-impact energy sources like solar power. This is a crucial challenge for those without direct control over their own production. That’s why it’s essential for workwear buyers to demand that suppliers monitor and influence sustainability throughout the value chain.”

– Anders Carlsson, MD of Blåkläder
